Four - It is just a number - it doesn't seem very significant. It is the product of one of the very first addition problems you learn in school - 2 + 2 = 4. For ten years we were a family of four until we had to learn how to subtract and become a family of three. (For those of you who don't know - our youngest son died of cancer at the age of ten.) It has also been four years since the passing of our son and tonight as I began to take out the dishes for dinner, I grabbed four plates. When I realized what I had done, I put one back. When I grabbed the silverware, I realized I had grabbed four.
If you ever consider the number four to be insignificant, just take one away and you will discover how precious the number four really is.....

Just rambling thoughts this evening
