Sincerely Yours from Flair Designs

What does Vintage, Floral, Romance, and Whimsy have in common? They all come in the new Sincerely Yours collection from Flair Designs.

The soft elegant colors mixed with floral, flourishes, and nature patterns make Sincerely Yours a timeless collection. For this review I received 2 each of the 12 x 12 inch single-sided patterned papers; one sheet of the Live, Laugh, Love Clear-Cut Stickers; and, one sheet of the Sincerely Yours cardstock stickers. Other products are also available with this collection which include Fantastic Plastic and Ribbon-Style Paper Trim.

While this collection is quite suitable for Valentine’s Day projects, it can also be easily adapted to many other events because of the non-traditional colors and patterns. Soft pinks and reds are mixed with shades of brown and green to add to the romance and vintage feel of this collection.

As I began to work with this product, I realized I wanted to create something vintage and so my Joy Heart began to take shape. For the base I used some painted watercolor paper. Then I began to layer torn pieces of Hearts on Fire paper and adhered them to the watercolor paper using a gel medium. I liked the shape that my heart was taking and decided to hand-cut a rose from the Coming Up Roses paper and also added a small torn strip to the heart. Once the ribbon and stitching were in place, I added a Clear-Cut sticker to finish my project.

A recent photo shoot with my son and his favorite puppy would be perfect to pair up with the Sincerely Yours collection from Flair. The Journaling Blocks page made just the right size frames for my photos and the Full Bloom paper added to the outdoor feel of my project. I wanted the top right corner of that paper to be turned down, but since the paper is single sided I got creative and layered a small piece of Coming Up Roses to the corner then layered a cardstock photo corner sticker to give the illusion of double-sided paper. The cardstock sticker sheet is entirely printed which allowed me to cut out the green frame around the Live, Laugh, Love circle embellishment. To finish my layout, I cut out my title from the Chocolate Box Stripe paper and added a bracket from the cardstock sticker sheet.

Of course, I had to make a Valentine’s Day card with the collection and I was thrilled with the results. I cut out the circles from the Lovely Day Dot paper and flowers from the Full Bloom paper. I used a distressing tool around the edges of the circles before adhering them to the card front. I also added the hand cut flowers and some of the cardstock stickers. The final step was to choose an appropriate verse from the Clear-Cut sticker sheet and place it on the card front. Now I am ready for Valentine’s Day!
