Remember I told you that we had a pretty rainy weekend. Well, besides taking pictures of the creek (which you saw in my last post), I also took pictures of some of nature's beauty on our way.
I really like how the flowers in the front and the background are blurred. Could I repeat this technique on purpose? Probably not :)
The Indian Paintbrush are one of my favorite wildflowers.
I really need to brush up on my wildflower names. Even though I don't know what these are they are in abundance around here and I think they are just lovely.
These tiny flowers are so pretty also but they never have any blooms in the center, they are just around the outside.
We had a time trying to figure out what these birds were. They were everywhere and finally we found out that they are Gos Hawks, commonly referred to as a Chicken Hawk.
On our way back to the house, the pigs came running. Isn't she just a mess?
This is one of my new babies that I just got. She thinks she is "Queen of the Haybale".
And last, I will leave you with a photo of this absolutely gorgeous LaMancha, Cocoa Bean.
Have a great weekend!
