Glitz Distress Stamps

Glitz Design is known for their “shabby chic” designs and it only makes sense that they would add to their collection, Acrylic Distressing Stamps and a perfect fit acrylic block.

The Distress stamp set comes with 5 different acrylic stamps; Script, Dots, Sanding, Grid and Numbers. The Distress Stamp set allows you to add distressing to any project whenever and wherever you like. The 3 x 5-inch acrylic block is the right companion for this newly issued stamp set. Each stamp fits perfectly onto the acrylic block making placement of the image very user friendly.

The acrylic block edges are smooth making it comfortable to hold and easy to use. The stamps are a good size to work with on cards or layouts and I was also able to continue the pattern when needed.

For my first project I used the Sanding stamp to provide a frame around my photo mat and to add some depth and texture. The patterned circle that I used in the top right-hand corner of my layout has this lovely grid pattern. I wanted to duplicate this pattern to add unity to my layout so I used the Grid stamp on the rest of the patterned papers and my title. Using the Glitz Design Distress stamps added just the perfect touch to my layout to make it uniquely mine!

I really loved all five of the different Distress stamp designs but the Numbers and Script really jumped out at me. I decided to use these on cards. They were just the right size for an A2 card and I love how they added another level of texture to my embossed backgrounds.

The Glitz Design Distress Stamps are very unique and allowed me to create texture and distressing anywhere I needed. The fact that the stamps are also acrylic made it very easy to see exactly where the image would be placed. Also, if I want to use the stamps on a dimensional project, the acrylic will bend and mold to many surfaces making these stamps the perfect distressing tool!

If you are like me and love the look of distressing, you need to add the Glitz Design Distress Stamp set and Acrylic block to your supply list!
