Catching Snowballs and National Crafting Month

We have some great challenges going on right now at Dixie Pieces as we celebrate National Crafting Month. This week I am focusing on GLITTER! Now why doesn't this surprise most of you???

I know, I hear some of you saying "Glitter is so messy" - well it doesn't have to be especially with this cool little tip: mix your glitter with Crystal Laquer and then paint it on.

Title: Catching Snowballs
Supplies:
Glitter: Light Pink, Clear Crystals (P K Glitz)
Quickie Glue Pen (P K Glitz)
Crystal Laquer (P K Glitz)
Cardstock (Prism)
Patterned Shape (Rhonna Farrer)
Acrylic Paint: Traditional Tan (Claudine Hellmuth); White (Plaid)
Ink: Tea Dyed (Ranger)
Chipboard: Buck Naked Ornaments (Cosmo Cricket)
Punch (E K Success)
Machine Stitching

Look how beautiful this snowflake looks with the painted on glitter

I used the Quickie Glue Pen to add glitter just to the bottom of my title letters

I added glitter just to the tips of the paper.

Wanna join in the fun? You have until March 31st to enter over at Dixie Pieces!
