{Tap, Tap, Tap…..} Is This Thing On?….

microphoneI feel like one of those people who get really nervous when they have to step up to a microphone. You know, they tap on the microphone, and ask, “Is this thing on? Can you hear me?” LOL

Since last Wednesday I have been waiting patiently for someone to come out and fix my internet service. You would think with how much we pay, they would want to get out here right away, but such is not the case with my internet provider. They have us country folks over a barrel and they know it. It is either them or nothing – I think they need some friendly competition to move into the area if you ask me.

Well, anyway – after a week of patiently waiting for that 5 minute window span of internet time I would get throughout the day, I think my service is fully restored. Hence, the title of this post ☺ I am hoping this thing is really on for good or at least a good long time anyway.

I have been doing a lot of catching up and I wanted to show you some really fun projects I have spotted this past week.

So, drum roll please…drumroll

{Click on the pictures below to be taken directly to the blog post about each project}

Amy from Positively Splendid made these adorable outdoor placemats. Those flowers are just the cutest too! I love all of the texture she used to create these!

Janna Wilson from Cut and Create came up with this adorable home decor piece and she has a free printable download so you can make one too (no matter what your family size is)

Gail at My {re}Purposed Life shows how to make one of these adorable headboard benches. I showed this to my hubby and he said to save it so that means we will probably be making one soon. We need it for our mud/laundry room. ☺

Tomorrow I will be talking about “White Butter” and I have a little tutorial for you as well…
