Earlier this year I won a book at Hoosier Homemade. It is titled “Make-Ahead Meals for Busy Moms” by Jane Doiron.
She has a really great recipe for Strawberry bread and it makes 3 loaves. I did as the instructions say, we ate one; gave one away; and froze the other one.
The only thing I added to this recipe was a strawberry spread which I made from Chevre Cheese, juice from the strawberries and a little sugar and I whipped all together with the hand mixer. I am not sure if this lasted for 24 hours or not, but I know my family ate it up quickly.
