In October I won Fun Family Cooking (The Family Dish) at Hoosier Homemade. When the book arrived I was unsure about what I find inside, but to my surprise, this little booklet is packed with recipes our family would love!
With over 90 pages of recipes their is quite a bit to choose from and while Nicole’s quesadilla burgers looked like a winner, I chose the Skillet pasta & beef dinner.
I quickly realized I didn’t have the “exact” ingredients for the recipe but I thought I could improvise. The recipe calls for Rotini pasta and all I had was Penne pasta.
From start to finish this meal took approximately 35 minutes to make. Not bad for a meal that got rave reviews from my family!
If you are looking for a great book of recipes that are “family friendly”, then I would suggest you grab a copy of Fun Family Cooking by The Family Dish.
How much does this book cost you ask?
On the cover it says it retails for $3.99. You can’t go wrong with that price!
