It is funny how life takes little twists and turns, Some see it coming and for others it comes as a complete surprise. I fall in the latter category.
It was late 2004 when I ran across a scrapbook forum known as 123-scrap. It was the first time I had ever been involved with an online group like this. On that forum was a really neat gal, Andrea. In June 2006 we met for the first time at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington, Texas. She introduced me to the owners of P K Glitz at that show and I ended up helping them out during that show.
Who would have known those few hours of working in that booth would have such an impact on my life?
I started designing for P K Glitz in June 2008 and soon after I took the role of Design Team Coordinator.
Last week I took a trip to the home office of P K Glitz in Kentucky. One of the reasons for taking that trip was to finalize an offer that had been presented to me in late November, 2010.
What was the offer you may ask?
I have been asked to take over all wholesale accounts for P K Glitz and I am now the Marketing and Sales Rep for the company!!!
How cool is that????
This blog will not turn into “business” but be prepared to see a lot more glitter and embossing powder projects featured here!
Other than that, it should be blogging as usual, but I definitely wanted to share my good news with all of you!
In case you are wondering, this is the “The Secret” I was telling you about last week.
