Glittered Backgrounds Made Easy!

Oh, you are just going to LOVE how easy it is to make sparkling backgrounds!

Introducing the Background Acetates from P K Glitz! Right now they have 10 designs total for you to choose from and here are just a few for you to take a peek at!

These are acetate designs are approx. 4 x 5.25 inches and you get 4 of them on a sheet. My favorite design, for the moment, is the Butterflies and Flowers.

This particular pattern is a repeating pattern meaning that you can piece it together seamlessly which means you can create a larger background image. This is not true for all of the backgrounds, but it certainly is for Butterflies and Flowers!

Let me show you what I have done…

Sisters-at-Heart

Of course, the first thing I did was decide on my color scheme for my project. I chose complimenting P K Glitz Glitters and colored in the art acetate using the technique found on the P K Glitz Instructions page.

I then pieced my 4 quarters together and decided how much I needed to trim. Once that was finished I adhered the background pieces one at a time using Crystal Lacquer.  Once it was dry I began layering the rest of my elements on my page.

I really liked how this turned out and added to the vintage feel of the entire layout.

I spritzed a small white doily with some of the Ritzy Ditzy Glitz sprays and then heat embossed the heart chipboard with Powder Keg embossing Powders and E P Lite.
