Hanging Flower Frame

Yesterday I showed you how to make some pretty Shimmer Flowers and today I am going show you just one of the many ways I have used them.
Last year I purchased this really cool hanging frame from IKEA.

This set of hanging acrylic frames are the FINLIR FLADDRA
Frame for 5-10 pictures
and it retails for $6.99 US Dollars
I created some photo mats from Anna Griffin papers and used Sticky Tape to add some sparkle around the edges.
The frames looked just lovely hanging in the corner of my sitting room, but they needed “something”….
That “something” turned out to be Handmade Shimmer Flowers.

By the way, did you know that you can find all of past and current tutorials under the Tutorials 101 tab?
I just used a hot glue gun to attach each of the flowers. On one side of the frame I placed the flowers at the top and then on the other side I placed them on the bottom. I really love how they look and it takes away from the modern look of the frames and gives it a bit of a country look.
I have a couple of other flower tutorials. Are you interested in seeing them?
You can also subscribe to my YouTube and be notified when I upload new tutorials. You know, just in case I get lazy again and forget to update my blog with them Winking smile
