Inspired by Badge Holders

After attending too many scrapbook shows to count, a person can accumulate a large amount of “Badge Holders”. It was time to figure out what to do with all of them. The only problem was that the idea I had in mind actually called for a vertical badge holder instead of the horizontal badge holders that I had been accumulating.
I finally located some vertical badge holders at my local discount store and now it was time to make my idea a reality!
For some time now, I have seen banners on everything from walls, to scrapbook pages, to cards, and more. I really wanted a banner for my studio and with my new badge holders, I was sure that I would be able to turn them into the banner that I had dreamed of.
At one of the shows I recently worked, I found some beautiful ribbon flowers. After cutting each of the flowers from the ribbon I decided to spritz each of them with Ritzy Ditzy Glitz in Sapphire, Garnet, and Gold. It worked beautifully!

I then dove tailed each of the badge holders and placed a piece of patterned paper in each of the badge holders and trimmed the bottom edges. I added a strip of Sticky Tape along the edges and added P K Glitz glitter in Peach Crystal.

For each of the letters, I embossed them with White Orchid Embossing Powder to color and then added a top layer of E P Lite White Orchid over the top for a touch of sparkle.
I assembled my banner and I have to say that I am very pleased with the end result. Who would have ever thought I could make a banner from badge holders?
