That Little Button Can Tell You A Lot

I’m not sure if you have ever noticed or clicked on any of the buttons I have in my sidebar, but today I am going to tell you about one of them you may have never noticed before….

It seems like many moons ago….. many, many, many moons ago, but we used to travel the country preaching and singing southern gospel music as a family. We called ourselves, “Gospel Witness” because it was our belief that we should all be a “Witness for the Gospel” hence, the name that my husband came up with.

Things change, and if you live long enough, you will learn to embrace change, even when you don’t like. You know it is going to take place…. there is nothing you can do about it…. so just embrace the fact that “change” will happen whether we like it or not! Believe me, every morning I get up… look in the mirror…  and I am reminded that “things do change” LOL

One of the things that has changed over the years is that we have gone from having one website to 5 blogs! I would say that is change, wouldn’t you? Our main blog is the hosting site for the other 4 blogs that we maintain as a family.

What is that main blog you ask?

It is GospelWitness.Net – The internet home of the Malone family!

Here you will find out more about me and my family than you probably ever wanted to know – or maybe “should know”.  Once you are redirected to our Internet Home, there is one button I want you to take a peek at…

After 10 years, we are getting back together as a ministry. Of course, things will not be the same as they were before, but that doesn’t mean we can’t go forward.

For the past couple of months we have been singing at a local nursing home and they love us! Hey, don’t laugh, we have been kicked out of nursing facility before and it wasn’t pretty! We will leave that story for another time.

Prior to the start of our nursing home ministry, we went to hear some long time friends sing at a local church on a Saturday night. They asked if we would come up and sing so we did and didn’t think much more of it. After our friends finished, the director asked if we would come up and sing one more so my husband sang one by himself. We still didn’t think much of it until we were getting ready to leave and the director asked my husband if we would come and minister in song for one of their Saturday Night Singings. We were shocked because it had been a long time since we had done any ministry like this. My husband booked the date and now this Saturday night, Gospel Witness will be back together. Well, we will only be half back together, but we can’t let that stop us now, will we?

I wish I had made the guys wear a jacket for this picture, but it is too late now. The flyers have been distributed and we have already received a phone call congratulating us on our reunion.

If you are in our area and would like to come see us, make sure you click on the GospelWitness.Net button to find out where we are going to be! We would love to see you there.
