If It Wasn’t For the Lighthouse

I’ve only had the privilege of seeing one Lighthouse – so far. It was when I was visiting a friend on the west coast and it was unexpected.  Something that she was very familiar with, was such a thrill for me. There is just something about them that I admire and to me they are symbol of protection and help.
Recently I was invited to spend a few days with a friend. The room I stayed in was decorated in a Lighthouse theme.
I created this Lighthouse card for my friend using Sticky Paper, Glitter Glitz, and a Silhouette die cut.

I used some pop dots to lift the Lighthouse image from the card and I embossed the message using Powder Keg embossing powder. I love how the Powder Keg gives a beautifully raised surface to my stamped message.

Do share a love of Lighthouse? Have you seen any or do you live near one?
