Last Minute Thanksgiving Table Decorations, Part 1

Do you have lots of guests coming to your house for Thanksgiving? Maybe you just have a small gathering of close friends and relatives?

Whatever the case may be, you want the day to be perfect and what better way than to add a personal touch to the table.

Today I am going to show you how to create a Place card that will make each of your guests feel special.

Placecard
As seen on the P K Glitz Blog

Supplies:

Glitter: New England Autumn, Buttered Rum, Gilded Grape Leaf, Poppy Jasper,
Purple Reign, Carnival (P K Glitz)

Sticky Tape: ¼” (P K Glitz)
Art Acetate: Fall Leaf Border  (P K Glitz)
Anti Static Brush (P K Glitz)
Cardstock
3 D Crystal Lacquer
Brown ink
Quickie Glue Pen

Place Card Instructions:

  • Add Crystal Lacquer to the leaves on the Fall Leaf Border Acetate and add various colors of glitter and let dry.
  • Assemble place card adding ink to edges if desired.
  • When leaves are dry, cut out and add to bottom of the place card using Crystal Lacquer or scraps of WonderFilm
  • Write name with Quickie Glue pen and add glitter.
Maybe you would like to write a “Thank You” to your host or hostess this year. Here is an idea using the same basic design that we used for the place card. You could also use this place card to write down what you are thankful for and then read them at your gathering the following year.
