#10 is The Best Project I've Made So Far from August 1, 2011
A few months ago I found myself carrying home a truck load of treasures that I found at a local flea market. It was something very rare for me to actually find things of value at a flea market so I was beyond delighted. You can read about my finds HERE
Since that time, I have been working on putting some of these treasures to use.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to tackle this window (which was my favorite of all of them that I brought home).
As you can see, the previous owner decided to spray paint the glass. This glass is very fragile and would require a light touch, but I thought it would be fairly easy to remove.
I can honestly say I have not ever removed this amount of paint from a window before so my expectations were misguided. I had planned on “maybe 30 minutes” to complete this job.
Several hours later, and sore arms and fingers, the window was back to having clear panes rather than the opaque.
