I used vinyl and a Silhouette file to cut a stencil for each of the glasses. I placed the stencil on the glasses and made sure all edges were secure. I then added the Etching Cream and let it sit for about 10 - 15 minutes. When the time had passed, I scrapped the excess back into the Etching Cream jar and rinsed the glasses with cool water until all of the residue was removed. I then removed the vinyl and was left with custom drinking glasses.Glasses need to be washed in warm soapy water before using.
After using the vinyl stencil for the glasses I was left with matching vinyl horse heads. I placed the vinyl silhouettes in the center of tumbled tiles that were purchased at my home improvement center. The tiles looked a bit plain, so I purchased a barbed wire frame from the Silhouette store and cut one for each of the tiles.
I can't believe how easy this was and it made the perfect gift for my friend!
